Challenge
An FMCG business wanted to drive robust leadership impact performance discussions and identify areas of development to focus on in L&D initiatives. To ensure a data driven solution, the first step was to agree an objective and standardised methodology for assessing leadership performance, providing feedback to senior leaders in the business and analysing individual and enterprise data trends to inform development initiatives.
Approach
Competencies 360 was used across each level of leadership in the business to provide structured performance feedback to leaders on their leadership capabilities and impact. Leaders received support via individual coaching sessions to ensure comprehensive understanding and ownership of the feedback data. To supplement this and ensure there was sufficient internal capability to deliver this in the future, HR business partners were upskilled to deliver and provide assessment feedback moving forward.
